Ready to find significant flight savings, hotel deals, and even car rental discounts? The day after Cyber Monday is considered “Travel Tuesday,” and Travel Tuesday 2023 will be here before we know it.
Airlines always like to entice travelers with super-low fares on Cyber Monday (Nov. 27) and Travel Tuesday (Nov. 28). But we usually see the travel deals continue until Wednesday, too. Consider this your cheat sheet for what to expect for Travel Tuesday 2023, which will happen on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. Last year, we saw deals like Spirit one-way fares for just $20!
Keep in mind, these low prices didn’t include taxes, fees, and surcharges, plus things like baggage fees and other add-ons depending on the airline. These were the best Travel Tuesday offers we rounded up in 2022.
Spirit offered one-way fares for just $20.23 during the Travel Tuesday 2022 sale.
Spirit Airlines is already known for their super cheap flights (I saw flights as low as $22 one-way for Baltimore to Ft. Lauderdale on their deals page). But for Travel Tuesday, their offer dropped some fares even lower — to $20.23! The discounted flights were good for travel on a Tuesday or Wednesday between Jan. 4 – Feb. 15, 2023.
Here were just a few of the routes I found with the $20.23 fare:
- Atlanta to Baltimore
- Atlantic City to Orlando
- Austin to Orlando
- Boston to Miami
- Denver to Las Vegas
- Nashville to Philadelphia
You had to book by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, to get the discount.
Alaska Airlines extended their Travel Tuesday 2022 deals to Wednesday — with flights as low as $29.
During the Alaska Airlines’ 3-day Cyber Monday sale, we saw a ton of flights for less than $80 — and some as low as $29. The deals were good for travel from Jan. 5 – Mar. 9, 2023.
It was a three-day sale that ended on Wednesday, Nov. 30, so you had to act quickly. But keep in mind, while there are no change fees on flights booked for the main and first-class fares, they were all nonrefundable if you didn’t cancel within 24 hours.
Here were the lowest Travel Tuesday 2022 fares we saw from Alaska Airlines:
- $29 Sacramento to Portland
- $29 Redding to Seattle
- $49 San Francisco to Las Vegas
- $29 San Diego to Sacramento
- $29 Portland to Sacramento

Allegiant Air discounted select routes, with flights as low as $37.
Allegiant had discounted routes for both Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday, with flights from Orlando to Asheville as low as $37 one-way and flights from Cincinnati to Denver as low as $47.
As part of their Travel Tuesday sale, they offered 40% off select flights (the savings were baked into the fares) and the third night free at certain hotels when booked as part of an air and hotel package. There’s also a triple upgrade offer on a rental car when you add it to your trip.
The sale ended at 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 29, 2022.
JetBlue offered $50 off one-way tickets with a promo code.
Doesn’t matter where you go; if you booked a nonstop flight with JetBlue on Cyber Monday (Nov. 28) or Travel Tuesday 2022 (Nov. 29), you got get $50 off each one-way segment of $100+ with the promo code CYBER22. The sale ended at 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 29.
They also had a big Travel Tuesday sale for vacation packages (flight + hotel or a flight + cruise), with savings up to $750 when you booked with certain promo codes. Here’s how the promo codes broke down:
- $50 off when you spend $750+ with promo code PACKAGE50
- $250 off when you spend $3,000+ with promo code PACKAGE250
- $500 off when you spend $5,000+ with promo code PACKAGE500
- $750 off when you spend $6,000+ with promo code PACKAGE750
Frontier Airlines had Travel Tuesday deals with flights from $39.
For Travel Tuesday 2022, Frontier Airlines had nonstop domestic flights on select days of the week starting from $39. According to them, there were 4 million seats included in the discount — so you were sure to find something that worked. The sale ended at 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 29, 2022.
You have to be a member of their loyalty program, Discount Den, in order to take advantage of the special rates. But if you signed up on their website during the promotion, you got a $50 flight voucher, which sorta makes up for the annual membership cost ($59.99 per year, plus a $40 enrollment fee when you first sign up).
Save 10% on all flights with Avelo Airlines.
You could save 10% on all Avelo flights on Travel Tuesday with the code TUESDAY10.
Southwest Airlines gift cards were 10% off at Costco.
You had to head to Costco, where they were selling $500 Southwest Airlines e-gift cards for $449.99!
Hotel deals on Travel Tuesday can save you up to 30%.
Many of these sales were carryovers from Cyber Monday, but we weren’t complaining. Here were the top Travel Tuesday deals from hotels and hotel booking sites we saw in 2022:
Booking.com
If you’re OK with not booking directly through a hotel chain, you can find great Black Friday deals through discount sites like Booking.com. Their 30% off deal was available until Dec. 1, 2022, for stays through Dec. 31, 2023.
Hyatt
Book through Nov. 30, 2022, to get up to 20% off your stay at participating Hyatt locations. Your stay needed to happen before April 30, 2023, in order to qualify. Use promo code UNLOCK at checkout to get the deal.
Kimpton
Kimpton’s Cyber Week sale actually ran until Dec. 5, 2022, and you got 10% – 20% off the Best Flexible Rate at participating locations. The deal was good for stays before April 30, 2023. You had to become an IHG One Rewards member in order to get the deal.
Radisson
For their Cyber Sale, Radisson offered up to 30% off all bookings made through Nov. 29, for stays between Dec. 19, 2022, and April 30, 2023. To get the full 30% off, you needed to be a Radisson Rewards member. Otherwise, your savings will be more like 20%.
